Hydrogen Refuelling in Sweden

This past month we’ve been supporting winter testing of a new Fuel Cell vehicle with our hydrogen refuelling truck in Sweden.

The truck was driven from the UK to Lapland where it was taken up to pressure using the on-board hydrogen boosters. Four weeks of trials then commenced with multiple hydrogen fills per day.

Conditions in Sweden make an ideal testing environment for the truck as well as the cars. We saw temperatures down to -27°C which has required some additional heating and insulation, and 20°C temperature changes from one day to the next.

Now on its way back to the UK, it will be checked over and serviced ready for the summer testing later in the year.
