An Incredible 8,000 mile rowing expedition across the Pacific Ocean
Miriam Payne and Jess Rowe. The two-woman team taking on an extraordinary challenge
In Spring 2025, a team from Seas the Day Ocean Rowing will take on their biggest challenge yet: 8000 miles of Pacific ocean to raise money for The Outward Bound Trust. Leaving from Peru, South America, the two-woman team - Miriam Payne and Jess Rowe, will row continuously until they reach the shores of Australia. Rowing up to 15 hours a day, the voyage could take around 6 months.
Fuel Cell Systems Ltd. is excited to support the expedition with an EFOY Direct Methanol Fuel Cell from SFC Energy AG, providing onboard backup power for emergencies. Our Service and Maintenance Manager André Anthony carried out training with Miriam and Jess who feel confident in its straightforward operation.
